It is no more a new gist that Nigerian Youths are lazy as claims have it that President Buhari said so. The news has being trending online for days now that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria said that Nigerian youths are lazy, according to reports.
So, in this post which won’t have much words, I am calling on the body in charge of the programme, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), that I, Chinonso Emmanuel Asiegbu (The Inspirational Parrot), a citizen of Nigeria, and a fresh Graduate (don’t forget, a lazy youth, as well) will like to serve in Aso-Rock Villa right there in FCT, Abuja.
I (The Inspirational Parrot), as well as other Nigerian Graduates (lazy Nigerian youths), will love to do our one-year NYSC programme in Aso-Rock Villa because I am damn sure that lazy youths are gonna be made hardworking when they get to Aso-Rock.

Rather than doing my NYSC programme elsewhere in the country (Nigeria) which would worsen my being lazy; I implore on the Federal Government of Nigeria to make sure that I and lots of other youths are taken to the Aso-Rock where there are no lazy people, sorry, lazy youths I meant to say.
I have admitted that I am one of the lazy Nigerian youths, and to stop me from continuing to be lazy, I should be posted to serve in Aso-Rock when I apply for NYSC programme so as to make me more hardworking.
My being lazy has stopped me from agreeing or rather proceeding to register for my NYSC programme earlier, and have chosen to hustle and gather enough money to be able to take care of myself in the NYSC camp which is full of lazy Nigerian youths/graduates.
Let us not forget the plights of Corps members in camps in some States in Nigeria; while someone would be treated very well in my own State, I would be posted to go and suffer in another State: isn’t it partiality?
Hate-speech is not only when citizens are the ones uttering it against the government. Whoever that is saying something against another or a group, which is really not supposed to be said (despite his/her position in power) is also guilty of hate-speech.
As I promised in the beginning of this piece to use few words, I am ending everything right here; but I am still saying it that as one of the lazy Nigerian youths/Graduates, I want to serve in Aso-Rock Villa over there in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
Whether President Buhari said so or not is not of much concern to me; my concern is the reactions and actions of the so-called lazy Nigerian youths on handling this insult.
It should not end in online articles and posts on social media. Actions speak louder than words; hence it is time for the so-called lazy Nigerian youths to pave way for Leaders who will come into power and make us to be hardworking rather than making us lazier than we are.
Till then, let me continue being a lazy Nigerian youth.
