How To Unhide “Suggested Members” For A Facebook Group After You Have Accidentally Or intentionally Hidden The “Suggested Members Feature” On A Desktop Computer
How To Unhide “Suggested Members” For A Facebook Group After You Have Accidentally Or intentionally Hidden The “Suggested Members Feature” On A Desktop Computer: If you have accidentally or intentionally hidden the “Suggested Members” for a Facebook Group on computer/desktop (PC), no need to worry anymore. In this article, I am going to show or reveal to you how to UNHIDE the “Suggested Members” feature for a Facebook Group you belong to.
I accidentally hid the suggested members feature on one of my Facebook Groups, and when I needed it back again, I could not be able to unhide it. So I rushed to Google thinking that I would find a solution but I did not find any much help; but after many trials, I was able to discover a solution to be able to add friends to a Facebook group on a desktop (computer) by simply clicking on the “+Add” button or tab.
The screenshot below shows how the suggested friends feature will be displayed when it is NOT HIDDEN:

Adding your friends to a Facebook group by clicking on the “+Add” button or tab is the easiest way to add your friends to the group in question especially when you are making use of a desktop computer or laptop.
Adding your friends to a Facebook group by searching their names or email addresses is cumbersome because at times you may click on the name of a friend you had added already to the group.
Another annoying thing I discovered while looking for a solution to unhide the suggested friends feature for a Facebook group is that Facebook team has not even done anything to solve the issue despite the fact that lots of people are facing the same issue.
But we should not wait for Facebook team; we have to find ways to get our problems solved. Maybe one day, Facebook team will do something about this issue.
Right now, let me spare you of many talks and go directly to showing you how to be doing this. The solution I am going to show you in this article is easy and you will even prefer it more than the normal one that Facebook displays when you have not hidden the suggested friends feature because it will take you directly to a different page where list of your friends will be displayed with the “+Add” button or tab beside each of the names on a desktop computer.
Just calm down and follow my procedure/explanation carefully, it will help you. In case you need help, feel free to drop your questions using the comment box.
Please, kindly note that this will only work for you if you are using a desktop computer or laptop and not when you are using mobile device/App. The suggested friends feature for Facebook groups is working pretty fine on mobile device/App.
Also, make sure that you are signed in to your Facebook Account because if you don’t, you won’t be able to perform this. The screenshots on this article are taken on both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and I make sure I indicated the ones taking on each browser where necessary.
Now, Let Us Find Out How To Unhide “Suggested Members” For A Facebook Group After You Have Accidentally Or intentionally Hidden The “Suggested Members Feature” On A Desktop Computer.
Once you have hidden the suggested Friends Feature on a desktop computer for a particular Facebook group, it won’t affect the same feature for other Facebook groups you are a member in; only that particular Facebook group would be affected.
In this explanation, I am going to use the group “TOLB MARKET PLACE” to show you illustrations. So, note that, okay.
When you visit the group on a desktop computer, the web address in the address bar of your browser would appear as shown below:
(Replace “GROUP_NAME” with the name of the group)
Now, change the word “web” in the address above and replace it with the word “mobile” and it would appear as shown below:
(Replace “GROUP_NAME” with the name of the group)
below are the screenshots of what the new page would look like after replacing the word “web” with the word “mobile”:
On the new page that would be displayed, kindly look for a place where “+Add Members” tab/button is located just at the beginning of the page; click on it and it would redirect you to another page which web address will appear as shown below:
The number at the end of the web address shown above is the group ID (that is for the group “TOLB MARKET PLACE”).
So, if you know the group ID of your own Facebook group having the issue; just remove the ID in the above web address, and replace it with the ID of your own group. Below are screenshots of what the new page would look like which is the final page where your suggested friends would be displayed:
If you are on chrome, after adding the friends suggested for you, kindly refresh the page and entirely new friends will be displayed for you to add to the group.
Also, it is substantial to tell you that using Google Chrome will be easier for you to add suggested friends to a Facebook group if you are having the issue of hidden suggested friends feature for your Facebook Group.
I am sure that this article will help you out because I made sure that I was direct to the point, used simple words, and included screenshots to make it more interesting and easily understandable.
