How to cook Nigerian Beans Porridge: (Watch Video Tutorial)


Probably on of my favorites any day, any time. I will list the ingredients and you will learn the rest from the video below.

Ingredients

3 cigar cups (approx. 750g) brown/black eyed beans

Red palm oil (enough to colour)

1 medium onion

Pepper & Salt (to taste)

1 big stock cube

500g Yam/Plantain/Sweet Potatoes/Baby Corn (Optional)

Crayfish

You can cook beans porridge with corn. Either add the fresh corn and
boil with the beans, or drain the water from the sweet corn in the tin
and add after you have taken the beans off the fire, while still hot. If
you do not like boiling the beans with yam/potatoes/plantains, you can
serve separately with sweet potatoes or plantains.
