This December 2018, one of the best cultural carnivals is going to take place in Anambra State.

Akpụ Youth Cultural Carnival 2018 is taken place on Friday 28th of December, 2018.

Akpụ Youth Cultural Carnival is a cultural event organized by Akpụ Youth Movement (AYM), a body that unites all the youths of Akpụ Village in Ukpo Community, Dunukofia Local Government of Anambra State.

Ukpo Town is the hometown of many prominent persons, such as Prince England. Dr. Arthur Eze (mfr) (Ọzọ Igbo Ndụ, Eze N’Ukpo), not forgetting Professor Chinyere Stella Okunna (The first female Professor of Mass Communication in Nigeria), among others.

In fact, Ndị Ukpo Dunukofia nwere mmadụ, ha nwere ebu nwee mpụ.

Akpụ Ukpo is one of the prominent villages in Ukpo Dunukofia and the youth body of the great Akpụ village in Ukpo Kingdom came up with this idea of holding an annual cultural carnival during which they portray various cultural attires and activities of Igbo origin.

The 2018 edition of Akpụ Youth Movement Cultural Carnival is the third (3rd) edition, the first and second editions held in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

If you have taken a good look at the banners, what you will see is a glimpse of what your eyes will behold on the 28th day of December, 2018, which will be Friday.

Make out time to be there on Friday 28th of December, 2018, 9am, at Ukpo Kingdom, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.
