Brand: Brief History of Heineken (The Heineken Story)
Brand – Brief History of Heineken (The Heineken Story): In this article you will find a brief history of the brand of alcoholic drink (beer) known as Heineken, and we tagged the brief history “The Heineken Story”.
Heineken is very old, it was established in the 19th century, and till this day, the quality remains the same (unadulterated).
Most of us may be drinking alcohol, and I am sure that most people have heard or seen Heineken lager beer before, if not in real life, maybe in photos or in TV adverts.
In this Heineken Story (Brief History of Heineken) we will discover the Legend behind this brand that has existed for years and has recorded enormous success since its existence.
The Heineken Story (Brief History of Heineken):
Back in 1873 a young entrepreneur named Gerard Heineken discovered a passion for brewing. So he purchased a piece of land in what is now the center of Amsterdam, built a brewery and set about perfecting the recipe that would soon become Holland’s first ‘premium’ lager beer.
Word quickly spread and the name Heineken, stamped onto every single bottle, became a national symbol of quality. Over the next 140 years his brewery expanded and Gerard’s children and grandchildren explored new worlds, but the name on the bottle always remained the same.
Today, four generations later, they’re still passionate about brewing a truly premium beer. After all, when your family name is at stake, you care a little more.
At the heart of Heineken’s success lie pure, natural ingredients: malted barley, water, hops and a small but significant extra called A-Yeast.
Heineken’s unique A-Yeast is responsible for the rich balanced taste and subtle fruity notes that have distinguished every single Heineken since the 19th century.
Over the years our master brewers continued to perfect their craft. We learned that fermenting our beer in horizontal tanks instead of the industry-standard vertical creates the perfect pressure for our A-Yeast. That’s what gives each Heineken its characteristic balanced, rich taste.
We also learned that it takes 28 days to brew a beautiful golden-yellow beer. Sure, that’s much longer than average, but we prefer patience above compromising on quality.
It’s been 140 years since Heineken has been able to call itself a microbrewer. And while we’re proud that 25 million Heineken’s are served each day across 192 countries, we’ve never forgotten that the quality is measured not in the size of your brand but in the purity of your beer.
Even as we continue to open up to new worlds, Gerard’s uncompromised drive for quality and perfection still lives on in the Heineken family. Cheers!
“PASSION” is a strong keyword when one should be telling the Story of Heineken; successful achievers have revealed that they turned their passion into lucrative business, that’s to say that their success in their life achievements sterns from their passion for what each of them is/was into.
Reading further the Heineken Story (History of Heineken), we discovered that Legend Gerard Adriaan Heineken did not destroy the establish before leaving the world, he left it for his successors even though he didn’t inherit it from his predecessor.
Hope you too are thinking of an establishment which not only you shall benefit from, but your generation to come. Think of such ideas and endeavour to make them a reality.
On the other hand, his Children, Grandchildren and great Grandchildren didn’t mismanage the establishment their father, grandfather and great grandfather set up.
So, pray that God will bless you with such good successors who will be able to take over whatever you will leave behind and manage it well, and also leave them behind for the generations to come.
PATIENCE also contributed to their reputation and unique; they are not in hurry during their brewing process. From the history of Heineken above, we learnt that it takes them up to 28 days to brew, which is above average: they chose quality before every other things.
I am not leaving out CREATIVITY; they are very creative hence devising means quite different from standard but worked best for them and give them what they desire (high quality).
Finally, let me talk about the uniqueness of the alcoholic brand; it was started in the 19th century, yet the quality/taste remained the same even though the Founder, Legend Gerard Adriaan Heineken, and some others have passed on, it remained unadulterated.
That’s how our life should be: each of us is unique, and you are meant to maintain your uniqueness through out your stay on earth as that will make things you’ve established unique even after you’ve gone.
There are so many lessons to learn from The Heineken Story, I am so sure you really learnt one or two or more; feel free to share with us some of the lessons you’ve learnt from the history of Heineken.
