Brazilian Football Star Hulk Welcomes Baby: Brazilian footballer, Hulk has welcomed a child with the niece of his ex-wife. Camila Angelo gave birth to her baby, Zaya, in a Miami hospital where the couple owns a high-end condo.

His club Atletico Mineiro gave the 35-year-old permission to miss Sunday’s match against Coritiba so he could be present at the birth.

In a touching message announcing that he is once more a father, the striker referred to Zaya as his “princess” and promised to “love and protect” her forever.

Hulk, who already has three children with former wife Iran Angelo, said on Instagram accompanying photographs of him cradling his newborn baby in his arms and moments after the birth with second wife Camila: “Our little Zaya was born under the blessing of God Our Almighty Father.

“Zaya means enlightened, luck, a flower that blossoms and she comes to bring light and illuminate our lives more. Come blossom our home my love. We’ve dreamed about your arrival for a long time. Happy to be able to experience the grace of the promises of God. Thank you God for my family that I will honour and love for ever.”

In a direct message to the baby girl, he added: “You are an answer to our prayers, daughter, you came to make our life even more beautiful. You are our blessing. Welcome my princess, I will love and protect you for ever. Hulk, your father”.

In a social media post, the soccer star named Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, Miami, as the birthplace Zaya.  Mercy Hospital is in Miami and is the County’s sole Catholic hospital.

He shared a snapshot of Zaya’s birth card on Instagram, which included the date and time of her birth, as well as her height and weight and the name of the gynecologist who delivered her. She weighed 8lbs 9oz and was born at 2:22pm Florida time on Monday – 7:22pm in the UK.

Camila expressed her joy on social media as well, uploading a cute snapshot of herself and her footballer husband hugging their daughter shortly after her delivery with the caption “Welcome Zaya.” Despite being in the latter stages of his career, Hulk came to the United States on his own plane over the weekend to accompany Camila as she counted down the final hours until their first daughter arrived at their spectacular apartment in a fancy Miami condominium.

The 32-year-old model is a dual citizen of the United States and Brazil. Before the birth, Hulk, whose full name is Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, had already declared himself a father-of-four on social media, citing Zaya as one of his children after his three with his ex – Ian, Tiago, and Alice.
