Should I call this ignorance, stubbornness, or what? I don’t really understand why some persons don’t value vicarious experiences, these people in the photo below have not learnt from those who had lost their lives through fire outbreak resulting from spilled petrol from fallen petrol tankers. They were so busy scooping petrol into cans not knowing that a spark of light around the scene would convert the whole place into a pseudo-hell-fire [if there is something like that]. Money isn’t the root of all evil, rather it’s the otiose love [or desire] for money.
Some persons suffer from GET-RICH-QUICK-SYNDROME, but for myself, I suffer from GET-RICH-SYNDROME: no –QUICK- attached. Let me make the money slowly as it pleases God: poco-a-poco; Que Sera Sera! Let us desist from such acts.
Those in the photo [first photo] are residents of Onitsha, Anambra state; on 3rd October 2016, news had it that they were seen putting their lives on the line as they rushed out in large numbers to scoop fuel from a tanker that fell along Ogbosi road, Onitsha. According to the news carried by “NEWSANAMBRA”.
